Quote by ireciniusWell I don't know why you guys say that thoses are not used resolutions, if you take a loot at for exemple: http://www.compusa.com/products/products.asp?N=200049

EVERY Single Widescreen monitor, has maximun resolution of either 1440 x 900, 1680 x 1050 or 1920 x 1200.
And its not one brand: Acer, Sony, Samsung, ViewSonic.

So anyone that buys a monitor there will be using one of thoses 16:10 resolution (like me)
16:10 being "really outdated" like Hikaru-San said, is totally wrong, because everysingle widescreen monitor out there in the market is 16:10.

And thoses widescreen monitors are sold in every american big store BestBuy, CircuitCity, CompUsa

I just brought this up because I'm kinda of a perfectionist and I can see the difference.
If you draw a Circle on a 4:3 on 16:9 will be oval shaped, and a circle on a 16:9 will 16:10 you will have a stupid black bar on the upper and bottom part, or the circle will stretch upwards making a egg shaped circle.

This was a result of widescreen computer display engineers' uninformed assumption that people viewing 16:9 content on their computer would prefer that an area of the screen be reserved for playback controls or subtitles, as opposed to viewing content full-screen.

Are you sure ALL those resolutions aren't available already to sumbit? I know you listed a 1920x1080 resolution...that is already available, in fact I submit my wallpapers in that size.

As it is right now, not a lot of users have widescreens. It is becoming more and more common with newer computers. I've yet to encounter any of these 16:10 monitors.

Most of the wallpapers, or I should say "Good" wallpapers are large enough they can be trimmed to fit other resolutions. I'm sure give it time those other resolutions will become available.
